Late 1970s: Formed Great Western Entertainment, serving as president. Company purchased and leased movie theaters in Colorado and Oklahoma, presenting sub-run double-features for $1.50.

Late 1970s: President of Plainspeak Systems Corporation, which promoted the use of computerized ticketing through TicketMaster.
